Health Minister Receives Sports Investment Forum’s Plaque

Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel received the Sports Investment Forum (SIF) plaque today in recognition of the ministry’s pivotal role in enhancing national efforts to support sports as a fundamental pillar for improving quality of life and promoting public health.
Minister Al-Jalajel expressed pride in the partnership between the health and sports sectors, noting that improving quality of life and promoting public health are key priorities in Saudi Vision 2030. He added that sports are crucial to enhancing physical and mental health and preventing chronic diseases.
He stated: “The transformation in the health sector supports these efforts and reinforces the ‘Health in All Policies (HiAP)’ approach to ensure comprehensive development. We are proud to support the SIF as a platform that brings together experts and investors to develop a sustainable sports sector that contributes to promoting healthy lifestyles.”
SIF CEO Ibrahim Al-Bakri emphasized that presenting the forum’s plaque to the Minister of Health reflects the importance of cross-sector collaboration to achieve the forum’s objectives. He added that the forum aims to showcase investment opportunities in the sports sector as an effective tool for enhancing public health and encouraging a more active and vibrant lifestyle.
The SIF will be held from April 7 to 9 under the patronage of the Ministry of Sport and the Ministry of Investment. It will feature the participation of prominent local and international leaders.
