Speakers at the session titled “Developing the Market Value of Sports Clubs”, held as part of the second day of the Sports Investment Forum (SIF) taking place in Riyadh, emphasized that Saudi sports are undergoing a significant transformation in terms of quality and professionalism, making the Kingdom a prime destination for international investments in the sports sector.
They highlighted the growing global interest in the Saudi Pro League (SPL), noting that the league’s appeal is not limited to attracting international football stars but also stems from its high-quality football and strong competitive level. Such factors significantly contribute to the league’s appeal to investors and enhance the market value of its clubs.
The speakers also pointed out that SPL is not only attracting talent but also developing it. In the future, Saudi clubs are expected to become a source of the talented players, which will open new investment opportunities and elevate their market positioning.
In his remarks, Ruben Potters underscored the importance of international partnerships that the Kingdom has forged, stressing that these partnerships play a direct role in supporting and increasing the market value of Saudi sports entities.
